How is the Great Neck P.A.L organized?

The Great Neck P.A.L. organization consists of a Board of Directors consisting of a Police Officer Director, President, Treasurer, Secretary and Trustee.  In addition there is an acting commissioner for every primary sport including Coed Soccer, Girls Soccer, Coed Baseball, Girls Softball, Coed Basketball, Girls Basketball and Travel Sports (Baseball, Soccer & Basketball)

What are the sizes of the various athletic programs?

Who receives registration notices?

Notices are mailed to the home of every child who is registered in the Great Neck School District.  If you would also like to receive E-Mail notification of upcoming registrations please go to "Contact US" Page and follow the instructions.

Can I request a specific team or coach for my child?

Requests can be made for Kindergarten and First Grade children only.   Every effort is made to place your child on a team with at least one other child from the same school.  In the upper grades, coordinators try to balance teams based on coaches evaluations of individual players.

What happens if I am late registering my child?

Your child will be placed on a wait-list, and he/she will only be placed on a team if an opening occurs.  Please visit our Website frequently regarding information for upcoming registrations.

If my child decides to drop out of his/her team once the season has begun, will I get a refund?

Not necessarily.  Our refund policy is decided on a situational basis.
